Francis Binnie



Game designer, programmer, and composer with a background in game accessibility. Currently based in London.

I've worked with developers like RARE and Double Fine to make their games more accessible to physically disabled players, and also helped develop an online resource about accessible design for game developers at the charity SpecialEffect, where I worked for nearly 6 years.

After working on a number of my own personal game projects, I founded Studio Hoiho where we’ve begun development on our debut title, Pipit.

I follow the 'design by subtraction' philosophy, applying a minimalistic approach to game design and ensuring there is intent to everything you encounter in each game that I work on.
